Will not keep heavy helmet raised
I bought this to use on a Miller Digital Elite helmet. The headgear was well made with lots of support from two (not the normal one) head straps and an oversized rear neck pad. Unfortunately the headgear would NOT support the weight of the helmet when the helmet was lifted. No matter how hard I tightened the side knobs, the helmet would still slide down if I shook my head. It would work fine on a lighter helmet (it only fits Miller helmets with the square mounting hole.)I bought this to use on a Miller Digital Elite helmet. The back pad is large and cradles the back of your head very nicely but the Gen II cushion pad is a little more comfortable. Would still recommend.
