      This stuff is awesome...

      Since discovering Purigen i now use it in every tank. It helps keep the water crystal clear. I have used the pre-packed 100 ml bags, and i buy the jars of it loose and pack my own bags. It requires a very fine mesh bag (Seachems The Bag). I have never reactivated it using bleach but it can be cleaned and reused. I wouldnt want to run a tank without it !!!!

      Purigen should be in every fish filter

      I wish I would have known about this stuff from the beginning. I suggest 2-3 times the amount they claim, but awesome stuff that you can use forever! I use it in pantyhose socks in cheap media bags (the purigen is tiny). I have over 100 fish in multiple tanks and could not get nitrates under control no matter what I did before I used this. Do yourself and your fishy friends a favor and buy this product, I cannot recommend any product in aquaria more!

      Crystal Clear

      I was super excited when I read about Purigen coming out. I figured that if it was 1/2 as good as they claimed it was I'd be in heaven. This stuff not only does what it says it does it add a crystal clear shin to you water that can't be beat. I've been converted over to the Purigen side and I stay there as long as it continues to do what it claims. Extremely happy with the product.

      Nothing compares to Purigen,it the best filtering substance out there, I use it in nine tanks and a 300 gallon stock tank that houses fish, it's great stuff, wouldn't go without it , plus Seachem makes a lot of great products.

      You have to do some shopping around but you can get this for half what you pay at a fish store or a petco. A definite must for keeping tank pals happy I only use 500ml bottle once a yr
