One of my favorite Disnet movies!
I rated this movie a 5 star because I have seen it many times, and I love it just as much as the first time I watched it. I highly recommend this movie because of its interesting characters, very exciting fight scenes and it has a wonderful ending too.😊

In this video game adaptation, Jake Gyllenhaal is Dastan, a price of Persia and must save the world from his evil step uncle Nizam (Ben Kingsley) who wants to use the sands of time to go back and make himself King in the place of his brother. Along the way he meets and falls in love with the Princess (Gemma Arterto). This was a great movie filled with action and adventure, high flying stunts, intrigue and edge of the seat entertainment. The movie also stars: Richard Coyle, Toby Kebbell, Ronald Pickup, Alfred Molina, and Steve Toussaint This Disney Movie is PG-13 for violence. Some parents may want to watch it first before allowing younger children to watch. I would not hesitate to allow children over 13 to watch. Get the Blu!
Great Movie, and having it in Blu-Ray is worth it! Superb detail and nice scenery! While not on the level of Lord of the Rings, it is definitely an entertaining movie, and the plot has some nice twists. (Parts are predictable, but much of it is not, and holds your attention well.) A couple of the characters have a strong enough accent (english/american/british) to break them out of (middle-east) character a bit, but nothing that a normal person couldn't overlook. Perhaps a bit of darkening make-up to help them look like they grew up living in the sun might have helped a bit too. I will definitely be watching this movie a number of times, and I would highly recommend people to get it in Blu-ray (if they have a player) as this is the sort of movie where the detail presents very ... Even my wife commented on how good it looked and with amazing detail. Some of the special effects were slightly uneven (dust storm looked like a special effect) however I didn't see it on the big screen, so it may have appeared better in the theaters than it did on a TV. Again, with everything else taken into consideration, it indeed is a movie I would highly recommend. Get it! On Blu-Ray!
