Catchy, But Hopefully The Final,
Weeds Season 3 was a "good while it lasted" type of season. The first season really caught my eye and had me wondering what would happen next week, while the second season continued that want of mine to see what was going to happen next. Unfortunately, after I laughed once or twice per episode in season 3, I realized all good things come to an end and that is what I think now of Weeds. The storyline of selling weed, gangs and the upkeep of the community turned more into a "Days Of Our Lives" venture rather than a good fun-loving comedy/Satire. It MAY be worth renting but other than that, it's done. Even if they continue the show, I no longer have the desire to watch it.Weeds Season 3 was a "good while it lasted" type of season. Just ok for me...
I love season 1 and 2, but was not that thrilled about how season 3 came out. It was in my opinion too serious and lacked the comedy that the first two seasons entailed. If however the writers were trying to give more detail about the selling of drugs in the subs, then I guess it was ok but I found it kinda boring and non-flowing. My daughter on the other hand,has a more dry attitude and loved it and she thought that it was pretty funny. So, there you go...I love season 1 and 2, but was not that thrilled about how season 3 came out. It was in my opinion too serious and lacked the comedy that the first two seasons entailed.
