Great book if, like me, you are unsure about taking statins. Before you do, read this book. Then read, 'The Patient Paradox' by Dr Margaret McCartney and 'Too Many Pills' by Dr James Le Fanu. Still want statins? The only beneficiaries are the drug companies and the Doctors brainwashed into constantly prescribing them. I've even heard that the doctor's are paid to prescribe them? Your decision. I take extra virgin olive oil to lower my harmful cholesterol; seems to work for me. Great book!!
