WOW!!!HAT A TRAIN WRECK. HOW AWFUL.
YIKES!!! Not funny at all. Just a bunch of silly sophomoric slapstick with no redeeming value. It's true i ordered by mistake. I can't wait to get it out of my house. I couldn't get thru it. Well, i will admit my birds enjoyed the score.

The Pink Panther (2006) Was it just me, or did everybody who watched this movie keep asking themselves, who the heck finds this garbage funny? I'm glad that I saw this movie on the movie channel for free or I'd be even more upset that I had paid for it. I was very unimpressed with this film due to the childish humor and completely ridiculous situations. Steve Martin is annoying but this movie does have Beyonce so that's a plus. All in all there were very few laughs, but there was a lot of angry grunting from me. I've never seen the original Pink Panther movies so I have nothing to compare this film to but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the fans of the series will be very dissapointed (that's the feeling I get when I read other ... THE PINK PANTHER 2006...HAMBURG..HAMBURGRR...
Steve Martin co-wrote the screenplay, and is outstanding in the role that made Peter Sellers a household name, everyone's favorite inept inspector, Jacques Clouseau. Yes, he's once again on the case of the missing Pink Panther diamond. Kevin Kline assumes the role of Chief Inspector Dreyfus, made infamous in the original film series by the great Herbert Lom. In this outing there is no Kato, instead, Jean Reno is the ever-suffering sidekick. I must admit I miss Kato a bit, but Reno does a good job mixing it up, and is hilarious in the dance scene. Beyoncé Knowles also stars as the object of Clouseau's affections. There will never be another Peter Sellers. He was simply brilliant in creating the bumbling detective that made us laugh til we hurt. Herbert Lom was also ... I loved this movie do the simple fact Steve Martin was perfect for the role of Inspector Jacques Closeau. He has always been able to play the roles to make us laugh and you will not be dissapointed with this movie. Kevin Kline plays the role of Chief Inspector Drefus whoms believes that Inspector Closeau is a complete idot. Steve Martins side kick is played by none other then Jean Reno and he does a great job playing the role of the old Kato. The pink panther dimond has come up missing and Beyonce Knowles in in the mix. When I heard about this movie in the theater I went. I laughed so hard through the "learning english" scene that I couldn't hear Martin and his lines. I went back to the theater the next day, and once again, the scene caused me so much laughter, I missed some of Martin's lines. Finally, the dvd came out and My kids bought it for me for fathers day, ( Great kids). When I popped it into the dvd player, the entire living room, full of kids laughed for a long long time at Martin. I was finally able to get Martin's lines down, in the learning English with tutor portion of the movie. In my opinion there are 2 pre-requisites to this movie.
