About this product

Product Information

This value-minded release offers three styles of virtual auto racing. Players can take the wheel in Street Stock, Dirt Midget, and Late Model competitions. Races take place on an assortment of 15 tracks, including figure-8s, D-shapes, and tri-ovals. Vehicle damage occurs in real-time. A career mode allows players to progress from local competitions, to regional races, to national championship. Saturday Night Speedway's developer, Australia's Ratbag Games, is known for its earlier releases in the genre, which included Powerslide, Leadfoot, World of Outlaws: Sprint Cars, and Dirt Track Racing series.

It's like being a kid in the grandstands again!

I was always a fan of different RatBag racing games, like The Dukes of Hazzard Return of the General Lee and Dirt Track Racing, it's the same racing engine on different tracks across the United States racing Minis, Factory Stocks and Late Models, career mode is engaging and it's alot of fun!

  • Good game great price

I bought this game from previous experiance, and have not been dissapointed. Being a racer this game is realistic to a degree and fun to play. The set-ups are a good tool to ry and make your car faster and the AI of the computer racers makes the game competitive and challenging. A few more racing levels would always be great, but overall I feel for the market value of this game it is a great deal for any avid racing gamer. Thanks.

  • bought for grandson pleased with it very happy withebay

My grandson wants to drive sprint cars, He is 10 years old,He has ADHD,And he can sit and play his racing games and have fun,If it was any thing else he could not set still long enough to do it,I am very happy finding e-bay, Because i have found him alot of stuff for his PS2, I will tell every one i know if they want to find some thing thy should go to e-bay.....

  • Great Game to play

Great Game, it's a lot of fun to play, and it provides the type of feeling of contolling something out of control if you raise the difficulty. Trying to keep the car from spining out as you said through the corners on a dirt track. I recommend this game to anyone who loves racing games or someone who wants to try something different. Its an older game so it doesnt meet current standards of graphics, but it provides some reality. From seeing dirt flying on your windshield and hindering your view of the race to pressing a buttton and pulling a tear-off off the windshield so you can see again. Its a great game for all ages.

  • Buy this game

WOW.. Bought this game on the recommendation of a friend and I was certainly not disappointed. First time I set up the game I played for 6 hours straight. The only reason I stopped was I got a headache from not eating anything for nearly 9 hours LOL. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes racing games and even those who like to build up their own empires in career mode. It is tough to grow in career mode fast but that is exactly how life is so great job to the programmers.
