    NetGear USB Wireless-G Adapter WG111

    Excellent Value I own 2 of these, one is on my desktop,which has win.7 replacing a TP-LINK, works 10x better. Using the other one on my laptop, which has win. 8.1. I find that the external USB adapter works better than the built in wireless adapter. Recommended buy....

    Works, but about Windows XP...

    Works well for XP and 2000. BUT this cancerous utility on Windows XP hijacks your login screen, turns off the welcome screen and forces you to look at a ugly black background behind the login prompt box. How you fix it is, make sure you have the device in the device manager, select the wg111.inf when prompted and it should install the driver Next select the icon called " NETGEAR WG111v2 Smart Wizard" or just find the folder in program files, delete everything, and go to control panel and uninstall the utility. You should be able to connect to your wireless network without the utility.

    Now to old to be any good

    I bought two of these , fast and easy but with one draw back drivers and firmware are to old for win 10 and up strictly for older windows.
