Synopsis
Do you like movies? Do you like robots? This book is a reading book for children from 5 to 80 years old (ok, ok...from 5 to your age). Caution: This book requires that both, parents (or teachers) and children, work together at least 15 minutes a day on reading texts and assembling some robot pieces (only the printed version) of the robot you see on the cover. The idea is that parents (or teachers) with their children spend some few minutes every day practicing reading, explaining the concepts for reading comprehension and learning about robotics. Every book has vocabulary for parents (or teachers) to help children to understand some terms from the world of Robots. Additionally, with very simple tools like glue and scissors, parents and children build the robot's parts, but again it s recommended to make just one robot part per day. This activity help to build children s imagination and creativity . It is a wonderful way to develop fine motor skills and something very important nowadays: patience. Some cutting and folding is a good exercise to help children to figure out geometric figures. Every reading session becomes a fun activity while kids see their own progress in several ways. The more they read the closer they get to have their paper-craft robot as a final reward. Automated printing has limitations and though the desire is to have the paper-craft robot on a sheet with good thickness, we had to use the same paper thickness of the interior pages. There are more titles and languages available, each with a different robot (Four in total). If you want to buy the FOUR books in one book and save, look for Robots For Children Full Version., Do you like movies? Do you like robots? If you want to buy the FOUR books in one book and save, look for Robots For Children Full Version., Important: Don t buy this book if you or an adult don t plan to spend some quality time with the kid and the learning activity. Although we use simple sentences and we have included a section for vocabulary, our main interest is that children enjoy our book by reading, learning and assembling the papercraft robots, always sharing time with a close adult or relative who help them in understanding the concepts of science. The purpose is reading just one page per day , trying that the kid tells and explains to the adult or relative all what he has learned and together, they both cut and assemble only one of the robot parts in every reading session . Little by little, the robot will be completed while the kid will gain knowledge on all the concepts about robotics. We had to use the same quality of the paper used for the content pages, since this printing has its limitations. It s possible that the robot drawings on the cover could look much better than the printed ones. However, the fully assembled robot will look beautiful. We invite you to share your photos and videos with other customers from the Amazon s community. To assemble the robot there is no need for special tools: scissors and glue or transparent adhesive tape are enough. This book helps to develop creativity, manual skills to work with shape and space of geometric figures. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy and share quality time between parents and children. Robots are becoming very popular nowadays. With a short and pleasant reading, children can learn about robots and develop creativity. This is a formidable way for parents to exercise reading comprehension while children learn about the wonderful world of robots. Adults can help by telling children about their own experiences with the robots they knew before they grew up. This book is a complete version including all our individual books of robotics, which are also available in Amazon: Fundamentals of robotics. Research and industrial robots. Cartoon and TV robots. Movie robots. This book has 20 pages with selected texts and full color graphics. Additionally, there are 4 pages used for one papercraft robot children can cut and assemble. The selling price is the minimum from Amazon, for publications with color and big size pages (7x 10 inches), which is more expensive than simply lower size books in black and white printing. Part of the cost goes to distribution channels which help in promoting the book. If you want to buy the four books at once and save some money, just look for Robots for Children Full Version Professor Charria. The book is available in Spanish, French, Italian, German and Portuguese. Other languages are in preparation. We do our best effort in bringing children a very positive learning experience and knowledge about robots.

- 8***5 (18)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseI didn't see a verbal description of this book as "hardcover" or paperback. Cover design and price were similar to both cover styles. I thought I'd left a question for the seller, but I may have done something wrong. The package was too small to match the hardcovers previously received so I returned it unopened. Seller was very efficient, and packaging offered excellent protection. Haven't checked to see if refund was processed.
