    It’s alright. Just treat your space.

    Trying to cut corners doesn’t help and I’ve learned this after I got sick of the boxiness of my vocals. I decided to treat my space instead and boy… night and day in sound quality. Let’s all stop being amateurs and perfect our crafts. Cutting corners doesn’t help. If you don’t mind having to mess with your EQ a million times over to just still be upset with what you hear go for it. I however suggest holding that money and treating your space. I actually liked my recordings better in an untreated living room with a 12 foot ceiling and an open kitchen. It was ridiculously huge and had terrible reverberations - but my isolation shield did a better job in that terrible space than this thing did in a better space. I’ll try it again with the room treatment… but I’m not sure that will take out ...
