These are not MSGEQ7 chips. I compared a genuine MSGEQ7 chip supplied by Mouser and two chips from this seller. The frist picture shows the output on pin 3 of the genuine MSGEQ7, the 7 bands are clearly visiable. The second picture show the output on pin 3 of the chips from this seller (somehow the input pin 5 and the output pin 3 are both tight to Vcc).
