About this product

Product Information

Join some of your favorite characters from Disney movies in Disney's Arcade Frenzy, a collection of four Arcade-style videogames featuring premises set by the films. All games have three difficulty levels and allow for two players, though only "Flying Frenzy" allows for simultaneous action. High scores are logged just as they would be in an Arcade, and you have the ability to save your progress at any point. The games are as follows:

"MuShoot" -- Join Mushu, the lovable dragon originally voiced by Eddie Murphy in Mulan, in this shooter as you fire away at wave after wave of Huns traveling down a snowy mountain and making their way to burning down your village. At your disposal is a limited quantity of fireworks as ammunition, an even shorter supply of which is capable of causing a small avalanche. Aside from individual Huns, you also must blast away at enemy leader Shun Yu as well as a falcon that will bomb a village house if you don't shoot it down in time. You must hold your own until all of the houses have been destroyed.

"Rooftop Ruckus" -- It's nighttime in Agrabah and only Aladdin's faithful monkey Abu can lighten things up. In order to do so, he must jump up, down, left and right in order to reach darkened windows and brighten up the town. In his way, though, are evil genies and guards. Meanwhile, the pesky parrot Iago (voiced both in Aladdin and this game by Gilbert Gottfried) is obsessed with making you backtrack by turning the lights off again! However, you do have the aid of magic carpets to whisk you to the other side of the screen, banana peels for shortcuts and to trip up the enemy, and a lamp to suspend time for all enemies.

"Flounder Quest" -- Sebastian the crab's friend Flounder keeps getting captured by Ursula, the Sea Witch! It's up to you as our pincered friend from The Little Mermaid to swim past jellyfish, sharks, eels, seaweed and other hazards of the sea in order to free the little fish within a given time limit. Blast through the level with the help of a sea horse and pick up treasure for points, extra time or extra lives. The original voice of Sebastian, Samuel E. Wright, contributes his talents to this game as well.

"Flying Frenzy" -- Straight from Hercules, those pesky Titans keep trying to ascend Mt. Olympus, a place they shouldn't be. It's up to Pegasus (possibly even two at once) to stomp them from above and send the humongous beings falling to the ground. As the famous winged horse, you must also deal with mythological creatures like Minotaurs, centaurs and Medusa, each trying to take you down. Where's Herc when you need him?

  • Great for the pre K and Kindergarten crowd

Okay...I am a bad mom who allows video/pc games. But this one is great for the 4-8 yr guys (and girls) It is disney so it's clean, not violent and has familiar characters they like. It was easy enough that with little skill they could get on it and start playing which I liked. Simple instructions helped me to get them started when they first got the game. Games are an Alladin based one where the monkey hops around ledges, turning off the lights of the windows as he goes and avoids the genie (which gets trickier every level), a mu shu one where you are fending off the huns (they love this one) by shooting them with a blow gun of some sort. You can also trigger avalances to knock them out. Also a hunt for Flounder which you navigate a maze and try not to get zapped by jellyfish, etc ...
