Heroes and villains are now rendered in 3D, and the storyline is told through cinematic cut-scenes enhanced with voice acting. As you guide the dark knight Cecil on a quest for redemption in the mysterious Valley of Mist, you'll confront monsters through an "active time" battle system designed to heighten the group-oriented action. Several gameplay changes have been included as well, such as party member Rydia's ability to create a summoned monster to fight in her stead. This quirky creature, named Whyt, can be customized throughout the adventure by participating in mini-games and even wireless competitions against a friend.

    Crystals for Alll to Save the World...

    Really excited to play this game and heard a lot of good things about it too... Still need to get three more games in this series and what not... And I highly recommend this game and maybe people don't like the DS since it is not as great as the 3DS, but this is one of my games I got for my 3DS to play... There is a character I really like in this game and his name is Cecil and the others too... Final Fantasy can be enjoyable if you like certain things and enjoy them too...

    Old Game, Different Twist

    I used to play this game years ago and it was a completely different perspective from the SNES and GBA experiences. It was a better graphic improvement than it did with Game 3 (still like it, though) and the changes to the designs from 2D to 3D, the translations, and the battles had made a big difference in quality. I like it.

    This is the best Final Fantasy ever made final fantasy four is my favorite final fantasy of all times this game is a must buy for super Nintendo PlayStation and the DS for final fantasy fans

    Very good

    I really enjoyed this game but the random battles were a bit much . But I realize it was in all the old classic games. But I haven’t said that this was a fun game in a very good story
