The Behringer P16-M has a 16-channel digital stereo mixer to create a mix of your own style. It has 24-bit D/A converters for high-quality audio performance. For an efficient overview, it has 16 channel select buttons with dual LEDs. This mixer has a three band EQ in order to match the input volumes. Each channel is equipped with solo and mute functions. State of the art at a reasonable price
So my key player can't hear well enough to stay on pitch and my bass player play's his harmonica way too loud (mic technique); and oh yea, way too much sound on stage in small clubs etc. Sound familure? Once we started using our P-16's, the key player is hitting his low harmonies spot on, the harmonica is where it needs to be without the house having to grab faders and the band is soo much happier being able to hear the show on stage... in stereo !!!! If you have a Behringer mixer, you should really consider adding on a hub and these personal monitors. Once it's set up properly it sounds GREAT
After one use I'm loving this thing! I said it's not easy to use and I'll stand by that. I played with it a bit before I knew how to set it up and thought I'd messed it up as I could no longer get sound out of it. After watching a couple of videos and learning how to set it up, the first full use of it was great. I've been using an Aviom A-16II and it's been fine but this Behringer P16M connected to a Behringer XR18 digital mixer via the Ultranet is much better in my probably not so humble opinion. The sound is so clean and clear. I bought this one myself after our church upgraded to the XR18 and I think I've convinced my pastor and board to buy 3 more so we can divest ourselves of the Aviom set up. Simple but powerful
Love the ease of pushing a button and spinning a knob to boost or cut a channel in the mix. Much easier than trying to fiddle with your phone or iPad while in the middle of a performance!
