Great little robotic vacuum
If your home has both 2.4GHz and 5GHz deployed, you will want to make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz SSID. Setting up the robot for the first time was very easy. You download the Dyson Link app and follow the instructions. You can easily create/modify a schedule within the application. You also have a few settings you can change easily, as well as viewing the map of where it navigated. I did have an issue with Mr. Jeeves running up and getting stuck on my bose speaker stand. This is 'normal', where you need to robotic vacuum-proof your house. Keep the power cords tucked away, shoe laces not accessible, and other smaller lipped items like my speaker stand partitioned off. I found a box the same size and cut it up so it provides a larger lip so Mr. Jeeves will sense it ... The first time he ran, it took him a little over 5 hours, and 3 runs in total. Now, I did vacuum the day before, and when I came in to inspect the dust bin, I was shocked! Granted, it did go under the bed and a few other items, which I believe the majority was picked up. Note, that when you first see it in action, it's slow and methodical. You might be thinking it's taking too long, or it will miss a spot. Do yourself a favor, schedule it when no one's home if you can. Just let it do it's thing! If you are there, don't worry about it. It is slow.. So what. I want a clean floor, in which it does a great job in that. Sure, it might miss a part here or there. It's not designed to perform a full clean of your floors. I used to vacuum once a week. With Mr. Jeeves, I'm breaking out the vacuum every other week now to get the edges/etc. All of the concerns that people have brought up can be rectified via a firmware/app update.

Not quite as advertised ! Pleasant surprise !!!
Received the machine brand new a sealed box. Connected to Wifi. Charged the machine and then activated it. It was totally blind, haphazard and could never could find his way home. He would run over his base and just keep going. He had no brain or memory and everyone in the office felt sorry for the little guy that was braindead. We called Dyson and told them our sad story and they provided us with another unit and this new machine is awesome. We had to return the little guy that tried, back to Dyson where they will probably dissect him to find out what happened, but they should just charge him up and let him go exploring knowing that he will never come home.
