Maybe it’s just a defective unit
Advertised as everything needed to install. It’s not. At this point quality seems shoddy. First issue, it does not come with the wires for the handlebar switches. It comes with 2 empty connectors for you to build out, but no wires. I get the feeling wires are supposed to come with as the instructions (also not included) have the wire colors and everything associated. The kit had no wires for the switches so I improvised with some new wires that came with my handlebars as I replaced the switches and they came with wire also so I happened to have extra of what I needed on hand. A handful of circuits including the low beam, left turn signal, cruise control have no power from the unit. No overload indicator and no output. I’ve been fooling with this thing a month and have only achieved 90% ... Advertised as everything needed to install. It’s not. At this point quality seems shoddy. Caught Fire
When I hooked it up every thing worked fine . When I put the handle bars back together and turned on the ignition the main box sparked and shorted out. Even if there was a direct short in the handle bar the LED should have gone on and not blew-up the main box. Can get no Tech Info for this from anywhere.

Ultima Custom lighting harness kit
The kit comes with every you need to connect your switches to a master control module. You do need to know how to crimp terminals and build connectors. The connector end views and actual instructions of what circuit is or isn’t needed could be a bit more in-depth. You need to have a basic understanding of electrical circuits to do this properly. It works great and the components are of better than average quality. I rate it a 9 out of 10. Will definitely purchase more in the future for other builds.The kit comes with every you need to connect your switches to a master control module. Had to get a smaller unit Seller accepted the return with no hassles New unit MUCH SMALLER & should work fine !!

I had issues at first then I realized I was the one that was hooking the handlebar wiring wrong . Once I figured it out it worked ok And to anyone else that's having problems with the unit It works with your handlebar wiring harness They do send plugs to put your wires in and if you follow it step by step You should be fine I went through each wire by wire to make sure I did it the way it could be done So far I have been ok and I've had it in my evo chopper for 2 years I had issues at first then I realized I was the one that was hooking the handlebar wiring wrong . Once I figured it out it worked ok And to anyone else that's having problems with the unit It works with your handlebar wiring harness They do send plugs to put your wires in and if you follow it step by step You should be fine I went through each wire by wire to make sure I did it the way it could be done So far I have been ok and I've had it in my evo chopper for 2 years
