About this product

Product Information

No more losing your quarters, with the Nintendo Pinball (1985) for Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). This game is a true Nintendo classic that is still fun to play over 20 years after its release. The game has consistently had a high rating for the simple but challenging gameplay. It simulates the challenges of a real pinball machine.Gameplay is identical to traditional pinball. It starts off when the player triggers the conventional plunger launch at the bottom. The player then has to keep the ball in play using flippers on the bottom edges. If the ball falls through the bottom of the top screen, it will show up in the lower half. It will return to the top when knocked by a flipper. The ball will hit off various hurdles and targets along the way. The object of the game is to hit certain targets on the board for points.Pinball also has two different game types, varying speeds, and offerings for different levels of difficulty. Everyone from beginners to experts alike can enjoy playing. There is also an option for a two player game, upping the competitive factor.Fans of classic video games will love the Super Mario Bros bonus mode with Mario and Pauline. This scene was first available on Nintendo in Donkey Kong. This level can only be reached by hitting the ball into a bonus hole. A new screen is displayed where the player controls Mario, who is holding a platform. The object is to rescue Pauline by bouncing the ball off Mario's platform. Various targets must be hit to break the barrier and collect points. When the barrier below her is broken, the player has to catch Pauline on Mario's platform. The Pinball (1985) video game can be played on the Nintendo Original Entertainment System with classic controllers or joysticks. The original packaging for all NES games is 5.5 inches long by 4.1 inches wide, designed to fit in the Nintendo Entertainment System console.Versions of this game are adapted for the GameBoy and GameCube. There is an unlockable challenge for the Nintendo 64. Nintendo Wii has even introduced the original and first version of the game. The developer for the NES game was Nintendo. It was first released in Japan in 1983 and had a release date of 1985 in North America, one of 18 games launched in North America that year.

  • Finally in 1985 it was released for NES.

A classic. A must have for anyone lucky enough to own a NES. good times,Nintendo's Pinball was released in 1983 as one of the first Famicom (Japanese Nintendo) games. In 1984 it was released in arcades running on Nintendo's VS. hardware. Finally in 1985 it was released for NES. This guide is solely for the NES version of the game. Upon first playing this game in the modern era,it looks very simple and as though it will bore quickly. Do not judge this book by it's cover. Nintendo's Pinball can be very addicting thanks to it's good design and excellent physics. It even has a bit of depth to it. If you've played your share of real pinball, you will be very satisfied to see that the programmers did a great job with recreating the physics of an actual ...

  • Good Game!!

I have played this game and some of the other NES games in their virtual forms (i.e. NES Classic Edition, Wii Virtual Console, Wii U Virtual Console, and Nintendo Switch NES Online). However, I have also noticed it feels very good and very nostalgic to replay this game and some of the other NES games on the actual system in their original physical/cartridge forms!! 👏👍🎮🎮🎮🎮🎮🎮🎮🎮

  • Decent, but repetitive.

It's a decent game - nothing too special here. Better pinball simulator than, say Video Pinball or Midnight Magic for the Atari. Response to the controls is good, but overall it's very difficult. The first level gets a little old after awhile. Still, it's usually available for a fair price on here, so I'd recommend picking it up. It never hurts to have a pinball game in the collection. Sometimes, you just want to play something different.

  • One of the all time classics

Amazing game play for this test market NES game. It was not all that complicated but had little perks for advancing further in the game with your score. Was the first video game I ever played and it stuck with me till this day.
