Pure guitar magic
I'm a big Hendrix fan all the way back from his appearance at the Monteray Pop Festival til today. Electric Lady Land was his greatest studio achievement. It came out in 1968. How he conjured up all the effects and double ( Triple plus higher) tracking was/is still something that will never be able to copy by any other band. His producer, Eddie Kramer, worked with Jimi from the beginning and all the way through his 'Official releases' and even still now. This re-release (and re-mixed) record is fantastic. Very good quality recordings for the original, live at the Hollywood Bowl is not very good at all. All in all another greedy moneygrab by Jimi's sister. However any Hendrix fan should have this.
