    If a fan of classic photography, this is great!

    I like the old Rolleiflex twin lens camera. I got this book as all photos were taken with it. I was simply taken by the amazing images, expressions and feelings found in this book. Hundreds of wonderful scenes of Paris taken over 3o years that are just rich with detail and feeling. It is a beautiful B&W book of a time gone by of the eternal city. Doisneau does a wonderful job of capturing the feeling, the history, the humor and the wit of Paris (and it's residents). I was very pleasantly surprised and have leafed through it a dozen times now. If you love old, documentary photos, wondered what Paris was like in days past and like a touch of wit and humor, this is a great coffee table book to have!

    Looks great. Especially if I bought it for a gift. I also love the fact that I saved a ton by opting out from buying at retail price at a bookstore.
