  • Oh, and another thing, you might want to read this book

And Another Thing.... picks up where Douglas Adams' last Hitchhiker book, Mostly Harmless, left off. The tone of this new book is very similar to the first two Hitchhiker books and, as such, is mostly light-hearted and fairly enjoyable. There are only a few moments I have noticed where the author, Eoin Colfer, seems to be trying too hard to be funny. More often than not, however, I find that he has been able to capture most of what made the original books so enjoyable. It's a very fun and light-hearted romp and I would highly suggest that if you've read any of Adams' work that you should give this book a chance. Yes, it is obviously not Douglas Adams' writing, but it is still very enjoyable. Give it a shot, you'll be glad you did.

  • So awesome!

This is an awesome collection rolled up into one book. So many things involved, just like the movie, yet more in depth. Also continuations and a better understanding of what happened and after the movie. A great addition for a fan of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy! And, "don't forget your towel!"

  • Part 6 of 3 worth the read!

OK...I am not some H2G2TG junkie who knows every line Adams wrote and understands the nuiance of every turn of phrase. But I do know this...I much enjoyed this book! Whereas some of the first 5 books seem to run together and can get a bit convoluted (sorry--sacrilige I know), this book gets right to it and keeps going. It isn't exactly as witty and quick to turn a phrase as Adams material is, I admit that. But if you liked the other books you will like this one. The re-introduction of the main characters makes sense and the reason they are brought together keeps you wanting to see what it going to happen. OK..So I obviously can't write reviews for the New York Times or the like, but if you want to read something that will keep you thinking while you are laughing out loud, I highly ...

  • Simply amazing.

Froody Eoin Colfer literally channels the late Douglas Adams in this sixth installment of the Hitchhiker's Guide trilogy. The book's design even improves on the originals. The story flows so smoothly (mimicking perfectly Adam's beloved style of lunacy) that it seems no time has been lost between this story and Adam's final installment, making this book a hoopty adventure. If you feared the addition of new Guide books by someone other than Douglas Adams, DON'T PANIC! It's all good.

  • Continues the popular Hitchhiker's Guide series.

Colfer got permission from the Adams estate to continue the series. A good idea never dies.
