    Sound good but need more shortcut buttons

    Ordered this phone for my 94 year old dad who wears hearing aids. He had gotten to the point where he was unable to have a conversation with anyone on the phone. This phone has very loud volume which could hurt a normal hearing person's ears, but is perfect for him. The problem is, it only has three short cut buttons to pre program numbers. I wish it had more. Yes, you can program speed dial numbers using multiple digits, but he wouldn't be able to remember that. One other thing-when you hang the phone up to disconnect the call, or press the phone cradle button to hang up the phone, it doesn't always disconnect the first time and you have to repeat it. Other than that, it seems ok. Bought it for the amplified volume, but wish it had a few more buttons.

    Increased Communication

    My dad was reluctant to use the phone because he couldn't hear well on the phone. This phone has changed his life. It means I can talk with my 92 year old dad more often. It's a blessing.
