Grab one of these while you can, as the PCM-M10 is now discontinued. This model has the best build quality for the price, outstanding intuitive controls with limited and easy menus, and truly excellent sound quality. You can record in numerous .mp3 and .wav formats, and add a memory card for days of recording time. Battery life on 2 AA cells is beyond belief; 16-24 hours is not uncommon for me. The dedicated record level knob is a real plus: you won't ruin your recording with clicks of a button while you adjust levels as with some competing machines. Grab one of these while you can, as the PCM-M10 is now discontinued. This model has the best build quality for the price, outstanding intuitive controls with limited and easy menus, and truly excellent sound quality. Sony pcm m10 is one of the best handheld digital recorders that has ever been made.Many people will attest to that fact.The sound quality and the specs, even after all these years, still rivals and in many cases exeeds current products.Sony, start making them again you would sell thousands of them. !!

The best portable stereo recorder on the market.
One of my hobby is to record classical music at concerts. I have done this for 20+ years, starting with a cassette tape recorder and the with digital recorders. I bought the Sony based on enthusiastic comments by other who share my hobby and since is very cheap too. I have now used it 2 times and the results are very good. Very low noise and long battery life, it can record 20+ hours in a row at 24 bit / 40 KHz. A jewel! Very recommended indeed!One of my hobby is to record classical music at concerts.
