  • Not bad for a sequal

Saw II was scary just as the first. Loaded with new "games" and "tricks". Just as the first, this one gives an surprising ending. For me, this movie seemed to have more of a story plot than the first. It also goes back and gives a couple more hints about things that happened in the first and how they tie in perfectly with this movie. This time it is 8 strangers in one house trying to survive. Testing them just like he did in the first movie, Jigsaw has many ideas on how to "save" his victims. If you liked the first then I suggest watching this one too. Also will prepair you for Saw 3 (in post production right now).

  • Twisted!! How Much Blood Will You Shed To Stay Alive?!!

Allow me to begin this review by stating that I am in fact a fan of the original “SAW”. While being a great movie, one that certainly breathed a bit of fresh air into a then fairly stale market. Putting all of that aside there is one thing that I will hold true to saying about this sequel, it does not really feel like a sequel at all but more of a continuation of the first movie. Sitting down in the theatre, after the lights had gone out and the opening credits had displayed themselves, my eyes were treated to the first of JIGSAW’S sick games, and I was loving every moment of it. The editing and atmosphere presented within the first few minutes was practically identical to the first in everyway, grungy, sick, full of fast cuts and movements showing fright and anger all rolled up into one ...

  • Disturbing yet Fascinating

Respect the 'R' rating on this one. Saw II is just as graphic if not more so than the original. But it's not the physical horror that will get you, it's the psychological thriller aspect of this feature that makes you pay attention to every second, awaiting with anticipation the fate of the characters. Many sequels fail to match what made the original feature unique... and I was beginning to think this was the case for this movie, but the suspenseful second half made up for it... If you've seen the original movie, SAW, and liked it, then you got to see this one!

  • Saw II

Saw II is diffenitly better than the first one. It's got more characters in it and more suspense. It's a little confusing in the end so if you decide to watch it or buy it, watch it really good or you'll be like "what happened" lol. But this really is a good movie. I wouldn't recommend it for anybody under the age of 13...or anybody who isn't into scary movies. I bought it because I'd already seen the first one "SAW" and it was good as well. But I like scary movies and I figured since I liked the first one I'd like the second one as well. I'm looking forward to seeing a "SAW 3" I'm sure one will be made, because of the way the second one ended. If you like scary movies, get this one. It's not like ...

  • JIGSAW is BACK an BADDER Than EVER!!!

JIGSAW is BACK an BADDER Than EVER!!! Sequels usually don't live up to their originals, but SAW II does that and more... Jigsaw is BACK, so is the Music and the Mood. SAW II still offers the Jigsaw factor and the whole "Live or Die" complex that he brings, but it has a completely different feel to it. Instead of two captives there are eight, all trying to find their way out of a deserted building. Jigsaw has set up quite a gauntlet of gruesome tests to see which captives deserve to live and which are better off dead. Due to a larger budget, SAW II has more effects, more gruesome death sequences, a better set, and a larger cast of actors and actresses. SAW II is more action packed than SAW I and less suspenseful, but that doesn't make it any worse than ...
