I asked the seller about that feature but they did not respond. The fit was okay the finish has noticeable flaws . The skirt is thin and flimsy Even after double side tape and screws it vibrates. I kept these as I got what I paid for

Motorcycle trunk tail box.
Very good atom! Looks great! The only thing is it does not come with instructions. However, you can figure it out fairly easy if you are mechanically inclined. The only thing that was a drawback to me is that the luggage rack holes were not pre-drilled. Other than that, great item!

Not Comfortable
The mounting holes did not align with the luggage rack , so had to re drill the holes. Then the angel of the back rest was to up right and was not comfortable. Some people said it came with a mounting plate. I did not get one. It would be nice if the top rack came with a template of where to drill too. I took the box off and probably wont use it. Arrival was quick. Packaging was excellent. Had it on the bike within 90 minutes. My particular luggage rack is flat and not round like most and I didn't want to modify it to fit the existing trunk holes so i redrilled the trunk to fit the openings in my rack. No problems with that. The light bar works great with no issues. Material is sturdy and would appear to be able to last a long time. My bike is gloss black so no painting required for me. One full helmet will fit inside with room for extra stuff...yes its roomy and looks like it came on the bike. Looked at it for a while before I purchased it. Glad I bought it. Terrifc Value, even considering light weight construction, I highly reccomend!
Well designed, sharp looking, light weight quality BUT at $71.00 you can't beat the overall value! To sturdy the thin ABS bottom I used 1/4" Black colored starboard which firmed and stabilized the interior bottom of the case allowing me to attach mounting hardware I made from 1.5" wide 1/4" aluminum flat bar (2pcs.) running horizontal (side to side) under my luggage rack through bolted through the bottom of the box into the Starboard. ( 2" -1'4" carriage bolts) Very firmly mounted without any concern of the box's integrity cracking. All EZ to do and well worth the money! Basically, at this price point these carry cases are a give away!
