    Let's Have Guests for Dinner!

    This movie surprised me. I've been an Eli Roth fan for a while now. It seems to have taken a couple years, but they finally released it, and apparently, not cut much, if any, from it. Warning: if you're squeamish, don't get this movie! I've seen just about every cannibal movie there is, and this is the best one ever. The picture quality on the bluray is very good. The makeup master Greg Nicotero has truly served up some tasty effects. This is a strong R rating, believe me! The only jarring element for me was one or two of the characters. Their reactions to their predicament were rather odd, to say the least. One element that saves this movie is some of the humor in it. Would I recommend it? For fans of strong horror, I'd say yes!! Others: be warned; this is not your meat!!

    Not what i expected

    I truly thought I was in for some gruesome but not so it was a ok movie , suppose I put my self in their position it did make it a little more heart pumping and exciting. I will watch it again.

    A big surprise!

    Having seen Hostel and other Eli Roth films I was expecting to be disappointing again by Green Inferno. Not the case at all! This film was well shot and acted with too real special effects. I have seen it three times now and enjoy it every time. If you have seen the clasiiic "Naked Prey" you will love this one.

    It's ok, classic don't go hide in the basement theme going on

    If you rent it, ok....However, don't over pay for this B-movie.....$4.00 range. Nothing exceptional, but all the classic place yourself in danger moves topped with some other goofy rolls. PJJS

    The Green Inferno (Blu-ray Disc, 2016, Includes Digital Copy; UltraViolet)

    A group of college kids try to save this tribe. They dress up as the bad construction crew to "expose" them. But, the plane goes down and the tribe thinks they are the bad guys because 1. They have never met and.. 2. They are still dressed up as the bad guy construction crew. Some people are complaining that Eli Roth failed to have this movie taken itself seriously. Well...thank god! It's also cool to know that the actual tribe in the movie were described as the sweetest people in the world. No one can catch the horror that Ruggero Deodato did for Cannibal Holocaust. Even Eli Roth knows that. This is just his chapter in the family of cannibal movies. And if you like cannibal movies....give this a go. If you don't like cannibal movies, stay away.
