Forty Licks by Rolling Stones
One of the best CD's around. Has all the greatest hit except Harlem Shuffle. I actually have 2 - one in each car. They get played at least once a week.

Top 5 Band of All Time: Their Greatest Hits
I was one of those people who didn't get into the Rolling Stones until later in life. I liked Satifaction and Start Me Up, but didn't know too much more about their music. After buying this CD, a whole new world was opened to me. They are for sure in my top 5 of best bands of all-time. And currently they are my favorite (I go back and forth between them, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin, sorry no Beatles, but I do like them). Sympathy For The Devil, Shattered, Beast of Burden, Wild Horses, the list goes on. The playing is superb, and the songwriting and longevity is unmatched. With 40 great songs, you can't go wrong. Since buying this 2 CD set, I've started buying their studio and live albums. It'll take me awhile, but it'll be worth ... A new respect for The Rolling Stones
I've alwasy been ambivilent about the Stones. But I needed some of their music for my library. At first I downloaded "Gimme Shelter" from the BestBuy Rhapsdy's site. But it sucked really bad - not only the slow initialization, but after I dumped it because they wanted to charge me an outrageous monthly fee I found that all of the songs I downloaded would no longer play since I cancelled my subscription. I never knew what a rip off BestBuy was. SO I needed Shelter. I searched on eBay and found this CD which includes Gimme Shelter, along with a number of excellent Rolling Stones tunes. Hey eBay users, For my first Ever eBay purchase I brought the rolling stones cd 40 licks. I've been wanting it for years. Can't buy it in the shops any more. So I thought I might get it on eBay. I was right. Got a brand new copy still in it's wrapper. Came in the post not long after ordering it, and I haven't stopped listening to yet. Good value for the dollar and a good introduction for anyone new to the Stones music!
I've always been an on and off Stones fan, always liked their music for the most part but never bought one of their albums on vinyl, cassette or CD! So I thought that I'd try the Forty Licks CD set! Lots of good hit songs there! Not having any songs from their 1986 album Dirty Work (one of my favorite Stones albums) is what prevents it from getting a perfect rating plus there was some minor damage to the CD case otherwise I'm fairly happy with Forty Licks!I've always been an on and off Stones fan, always liked their music for the most part but never bought one of their albums on vinyl, cassette or CD!
