    Not Quite as advertised

    It's a good looking device, but has drawbacks...It programmed my Yamaha receiver but it would not program the Onkyo CD player correctly, in that it would only work on one code and that only opened the CD drawer, no other functions worked. It did not recognize any codes for my Marantz Tape deck, so it would not operated that device either...and the Learn function did not work at all...bottom line, I bought it to operate my Yamaha receiver and that it does, so I am grateful for that...it is far from a universal remote control however...my conclusion is if your device is listed in the guide with a working code number, then you will get it to control your devices most likely, otherwise it is chancy.
