    Tables and Desks

    While dated (1994) it contains simple and clear descriptions of ways to construct desks and tables. Although I have been woodworking for 30 years I picked up several tricks. The chart with appropriate heights for various type tables was helpful, as was the one that details how to calculate dimensions for seating at dining tables. The drawings showing a 1990's pocket hole machine and a tenoning jig for the table saw show just how far we have come in tools and equipment.

    Tables and Desks

    What impressed me the most was the exceptionally clear instructions, on how to go about in the correct manner, many basic, and also complex cuts. Then the good examples of jigs that are required to get accurate results first time were invaluable. The other thing I really like is the ring binding - lay it out on your bench on the page you want and it stays put - with the super clear instructional pictures for easy reference.
