Who are these people?
The recordings were good, and apparently remastered off the original tracks, rather than rerecorded 20 years later by the aging voiced semi-original artists (something that a lot of these collections do) so they sounded good. However, outside of maybe 25 songs out of some 60 selections, I never even HEARD of the titles they included, nor some of the groups. The Five Keys? The Dive Bombers? I was born in 51 so I should be in the right time frame to have heard most of these, if they were at all popular. I think they need to work from the top 10 lists a little more when compiling these. Doo Wop: Vocal Group Greats
The music from this CD Collection was playing on a loudspeaker at an outdoor art show I attended in Pittsfield, MA. I loved the music, and found out what was playing, and bought it.
