Jamie Oliver offers three different game modes: the interactive cookbook offers 100 real recipes and features voice recognition technology so users can concentrate on cooking; the creative mode encourages players to select from hundreds of ingredients when creating unique recipes; and the cooking games challenge players to beat the clock while chopping, stirring, and serving dishes in ten virtual kitchens. The cooking games can also be played head-to-head, and players can save 100 original recipes then use Nintendo's Wi-Fi connection to share them with friends.

    This cookbook is confusing!

    this is a great cookbook--not a game! Also, his voice is tedious. He says the same thing every time you open the shopping list--thank goodness for the volume button. I like the pictures of the food but this is a "game" that is not a "game" and its not really a "cookbook" in that he does not define what words mean. There is also reference to "cooking things til they are done" . There are no measurments of time on these recipes--how do you know what is done if it is a new recipe that one has not cooked before? This would be good for someone that is knows their cooking--of course if you know your cooking well enough to understand what he writes on this program, you don't need a cookbook. I would not buy this again or tell others to buy it.

    What's cooking? Highly recommended game!!!

    I brought this for my daughter,who loves Jamie Oliver just as much as I do,and she LOVES this game! There is so much to do,from looking up-and maybe even cooking!-one of the recipes already in the database,to actually concocting one of her own.It was worth every penny and it is a rare occasion now,that I don't see her playing it at least once a day! LOL!

    Still figuring it out...

    It's okay...I wouldn't tell you to rush out and buy this game, but I am still trying to figure out all the in's and out's of the game...just seems to get hung up on certain areas (i.e. cracking eggs). I guess I thought it would be more like Personal Trainer Cooking (now that's fun)!
