I was worried about installing this thing myself, putting in a sustainer is one of the most difficult tasks of guitar electronics. One website notes "professional installation strongly recommended." I was extra worried when wiring instructions weren't included, however, the seller communicated directly with me and helped create custom wiring diagrams specific to my guitar. The sustainer works perfectly now.
