About this product

Product Information

Aksys Games' critically acclaimed 2D fighting series heads to the third dimension with extra story content, a rebalanced roster of fighters, and new game modes in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II for the Nintendo 3DS. More of an enhanced port of the original Continuum Shift than a true sequel, gamers can once again take control of all 18 characters and guide them through "Arcade," "Score Attack," "Training," and "Story" modes. But handheld players get the added bonus of the new "Abyss" and "Legion 1.5" modes, as well as a revamped "Challenge" mode. The "Story" and "Arcade" modes have been beefed up with new story segments for each character, and multiplayer fans can join three friends for local battles, with two gamers fighting and the other two watching.

  • Amazing fighting game, a must have for fighting game fans

This is a great fighting game. I've heard of the series for a while, but this is the first one I've played and I now see what I've been missing out. Controls-9/10 Very easy to control and perform most of the attacks. There are some minor annoyances when trying to perform a special attacks, and could have been fixed by using the analog stick like street fighter. Though the moves are simplistic enough that it's not a major issue. Graphics-10/10 I am in love with the character design and animation. It's very anime-esque and comes off as very dazzling. The characters are unique and very colorful, which is pleasant on the eyes. Gameplay- 8/10 The extensive game modes will satisfy any gamer and they are varied and unique (as much as a fighting game can be). Again, the moves are simple to ...

  • If you are new to this series I don't think you will like it.

I bought this game because it looked very interesting and the graphics on the box looked awesome. I feel like I wasted my money. No online mode. This means no spot pass or anything. No analog function! The d-pad is harder to use on this than for example the PS3.It is annoying you can not use this,if you could it would make the game a lot easier and more enjoyable to play, because all it does is make it harder to pull moves off. Most of the characters look cute and wimpy yet their language is worse than a sea worthy sailors. The 3d functions are useless, I mean they make nice depth in the game and is very pleasing to the eye but the characters just float on screen and look like paper cut outs on a 3d background. Overall It becomes boring real quick.

  • Fun Game, But Wish It Had Online Battles.

I bought this game so I could beat the pants off my friend on the 3DS. I ordered it and it came extremely fast. The only thing I don't like about this game is that I can't use the little rolly-pad to move vs. the directional pad, but that's not anyone's fault but the game makers. I also wish it had network fights like the XBox 360 and the PS3 versions had.

  • If you are a fighting fan this is a must buy if you have SF 4 & or DOA

JUST START OFF BY SAYING THAT STREET FIGHTER IV & YES THIS GAME ARE THE BEST @ FIGHTERS ON THIS SYSTEM !!! BlazBlue: Continuum Shift adds three new playable characters (a fourth is coming as paid DLC), and a plethora of single-player content. And with a price tag of $39.99, there isn't much I can complain about here. For established players, the additional characters will likely be the main draw, but Continuum Shift's greatest strength lies in its ability to teach newcomers the ropes through its wealth of applicable tutorials that go way beyond what I've seen in other fighters.

  • A good port but get the Vita port instead

It is a decent 3DS fighter sadly it is overshadowed by its Vita Counterpart
