A visual masterpiece!
Clearly one of the most visually impressive films in recent years. Written to appeal to the film noir genre, it relies on visual stimulation from art in the early 1900's through late 1930's. The only demerit would be that the story is a little slow to start, but picks up after the first 10 minutes. This is a large scale, large screen movie. And the blu-ray version is spectacular!
