I'll start with the fact that the shipment got caught up in customs due to being over the $2500 max IRS limit without filling in a import tax information form. Otherwise this would have arrived about a week earlier which worked out since I had to be out of town. The brand new packaging was heavily protected by an over box with corner protectors etc. See photos. The seller definitely deserves high praise for timeliness, price, and sheer attention to detail.

Very nice pastels
The texture of these pastels requires some getting-use-to. They are on the drier side, BUT, they are as easy to use. The technique to use them is slightly different from using those creamier pastels (e.g. Sennelier Mungyo etc). Some artist may not like that they aren’t as opaque. But I love love that I can layer them without worrying the top layer completely cover the under layer. Some beautiful effects come out of this. Also when I use Sakura to draw, q tips blends way better than using pastels themselves or using fingers. It might be because of the paper. I need to create more paintings to see. The range of colors are really nice. It includes a few neons which I actually really enjoy using. Some minor things, the box is compact, light weight, and can lay almost flat, which is a huge ...
