All in all the phone is a good purchase for the price.
It seems that the battery doesn't last near as long as it says it will. However the phone is not considered a 'new' model that you would buy off the shelf today, so battery life may be due to non usage. Otherwise I like the phone and it's features. It was fairly easy to get used to after having had a touch screen phone for a couple years. Like the idea of not having to have a contract with this economy never know when you will have to cancel your subscription. Camera seems to work well. It does not have a feature that I loved on my other phone, you can assign a ringtone to your individual contacts, but my old phone also let you do that to text messages. I haven't found a way to delete certain menu items off the inside screen that I don't use.It seems that the battery doesn't last near as long as it says it will. Disappointing
This is one of the best phones I have ever had. It is sleek, and nice. But, it is confusing. Things you should know before buying this phone: *There has been lots of talk about whether or not you can put signatures on this phone - you can't. It's impossible. *It's hard to get to the Speed Dial settings, so that was a little confusing. But, it's possible. The settings aren't very organized. *This phone really never freezes. I don't see why people say that. *The things you can do on the front are: write a message, look at the inbox, call/look at address book, and listen to music. *There is no headphones jack -- you need to buy special headphones if you want to listen to music. *If you download ringtones off the internet on your phone, they will work, but you can't set it as your ... Otherwise, this phone is great. It is super easy to text on, and one great thing is the conversation feature I listed above. The battery dies fast, but that might be just because I've been obsessed with the texting lately :) I recommend this phone to anyone! Just know the features that you're getting. Pros: Video Camera, Camera, Easy Texting, Conversation View, Fast Internet. Cons: Hard To Browse Internet, Annoying Menu To Change Settings, Confusing

I LOVE THIS PHONE. It's so easy to use, and great for texting! I really like it, and it has the coolest design. The touch scree is fabulous, but I can see how some people not used to it could get frustrated with it. My only minor complaint is that it doesn't have an option to set a contact image unless your contacts are in the phone's memory. I like to keep the numbers on the SIM card, so that way if the phone dies I won't lose any numbers. I also dislike that it can't edit photos like my old phone did. Classy, good product.
Likes- Nice, large screen with good colors, spacious keyboard, good quality and workmanship, very responsive web browser. Dislikes- annoying bloatware, awkward key placements for shortcuts, substandard camera. Got this phone when my slider's screen died on me. Overall, I am pleased, but not blown away. I liked the Impact because I wanted the full keyboard, but as I work in an industrial setting, I wanted a clamshell to protect my main screen. AT&T has very few options, and this was similar to the EnV products on Verizon. Pantech has made a nice phone here, but isn't it annoying when something stops short of great? The keyboard is very spacious, although I do have to admit it is a drawback of the style of the phone to not be able to work it with one hand. But honestly it is a nice, ... But honestly it is a nice, responsive keyboard with 4 rows, a dedicated ".com" space and well thought out options for your messaging, enter and shift keys. It has taken a couple of weeks to fully get used to it and all the positions, but you will not be disappointed at all. The inside screen is bright, colorful and large, one of the better I have seen on a feature phone. Above the keyboard are the shortcut, camera, menu, enter and call green and red keys to begin and end your phone calls, This is where Pantech may have outsmarted themselves, as they are awkward to operate when holding the phone casually. I am extremely let down by the camera. You have to have it open, and hold it long ways to take pictures. It is very hard to keep your finger from setting over the lens. When you are prepared to take pictures, there is a 2-3 second delay. Interior pictures are always dark as there is no flash, and quality with the 2.0 megapixel is way sub standard. The front keyboard is sharp looking with the neon effect, but about useless. You can adjust settings on the sensitivity, but it is either way to touchy, or you have to punch the keys to get them to work. Call quality is fair, as no one has ever complained about hearing me. I think reception is decent, but there is a "tin-can" effect to listening to your caller. Once you have the phone open the speaker phone is engaged. The reception is good, but you need to be real close to your speaker for your caller to hear you clearly, which kinda defeats the idea of a speaker phone. I have had no drop calls. If you have a data plan, the mobile web experience is excellent. The sites are loading up quickly, clearly, and I have had no problems with it freezing. Sure it is no Smart phone, but the Impact shines compared to other feature phones. The options to personalize this phone are limited, as AT&T seems to think they know what shortcuts I should have better them me. You can put in 12 different shortcuts, but there are several you can't erase from AT&T. Same with the usual ring tones and "bloatware", applications you can't dump off the phone. All companies do it, it just annoys me. This is a solid phone, feels well made, and the flip mechanism is smooth and easy to operate. All in all I am pleased with the quality of this phone. I like, though not love it.

Excellent Equipment, PC Suite not for Windows 7
I love everything about this phone. It's easy to use, has great battery life and the easy navigation makes it fun for productivity. The downside is when downloading the PC Suite to synchronize the PDA with your PC, the software is NOT compatible with windows 7 and the synchronization doesn't work at all. I searched the web for solutions, but Pantech has not released a new version yet and it doesn't appear to. So for now, until there is updated sync software, I am stuck just connecting the phone with USB to the PC and managing file transfers. Hopefully Pantech will see these reviews and update their software... Then everything would be great!
