    Decent value for a no frills GPS.

    This is a very basic GPS. The interface seems a bit generic but is easy to use. My only complaints would be the windshield mount is not the best design and the power cord gets in the way. If you can get this new for around $50, it's worth it. I wouldn't pay anymore than that. Bought this as a second GPS so price was a big factor. My primary is a Garmin Nuvi 100 which is higher quality. Good thing is, you can easily upgrade the software and maps running this. Just google it to find some hacks.

    Great GPS, But more like a pocket PC.

    It's really nice and easy to use Large icons and a brighter 4.3" display with a user-friendly touchscreen make it easier to set your destination. This GPS gives voice navigation instructions with Street names announcements. It shows Max. Speed Limit on the screen and gives Exceeding speed limit warnings when we drive in freeways. This is an additional safety feature that we can get only on few GPS models. Also equipped with Qwerty key board, styles and a audio out. You can customize this for the modding enthusiast, just donwload some files to the SD card and you can get new user interface, games, videos, mp3, media player, up to 3 gps map systems, word, excel, pdf viewer, web borwser, etc...

    It does get me where I need to go at an affordable price.

    In this day of economy hardship. I did have a data plan on a cell phone with a gps but I canceled it and decided to invest in a gps system and this one was more affordable than garmin or tom tom. I would say overall it gets me where I need to go and warns you of speed limit with 2D and 3D views of the map. What is kind of annoying is that sometimes you have to type in the name of the street you want to go to a little differently sometimes.

    good - larger than usual screen

    Large screen; easy to use. Should have had a USB charger to use with the computer however. Otherwise, good buy.

    Omnitech GPS

    Its an alright GPS. Works like it should, runs on Windows CE so you can tweek it if you like, Nice 4.3" screen and has a basic operating system. Its missing a few features but if you want an inexpensive GPS to map you around, this is the one for you.
