    Magellan GPS

    I’m sure the GPS is just great. The company who sold it to me is an entirely other story. You need an activation code after refurbishing. Well, as I found out the company VIPOUTLET is not an authorized refurbisher and therefore can not obtain a code from Magellan. 7 emails which remain unanswered, a phone call where I was put on hold for 90 min until I gave up until I was finally offered to return the item. Then I was asked if I want a partial or a full refund?????? Lights on, nobody home..... VIPOUTLET. COM DONT BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND MAKE YOU GO THRU ALL KINDS OF FRUSTRATING MANEUVERS.

    Simplify, simplify, simplify!

    The Road Mate that I bought 10 years ago was great. That's why I thought to buy another. But this new model suffers from the same problem that most products do today. "Information Overload". As if your IT department is trying to impress everybody, or justify their continued employment, by seeing how much unnecessary info they can jam onto a single screen.

    Magellan's GPS New Program

    I didn't like the New Program. It could find the address' . If the address wasn't spelled right or if wifi was on and there was no wifi around it didn't find it. Plus if you are driving you couldn't touch the screen to change anything until you where stopped.

    Not user friendly

    Not use friendly , can't program on the move , would have to pay for certian updates , u have to sink with bluetooth to setup on phone , then if have phone sinked to vehicle both phone & vehicle speakers are trying to work at same time .
