    Jitterbug works well but extraordinarily hard to switch carriers

    Jitterbug uses it's own network-piggybacked on Verizon. Since I had Verizon with my dad's old smart phone, I assumed it would be easy. I was very wrong. The process of getting it switched took 3 days! No senior that is not tech savvy could have done it easily.

    Jitterbug Smart, A Conventional Phone with Few Advanced Features

    Designed primarily for elderly users the Jitterbug Smart is designated to be less costly than more high-end phones, while being simple to use. The latest and most sophisticated of the Jitterbug line, this new phone has a much larger screen, and runs on a later version of the Android operating system. In an obvious desire to maintain lower pricing for its elderly clientele, the camera has a few more features than the previous phone, but is a comparatively low-resolution device. In addition, the supported micro SD capacity has been LOWERED from the previous model's 64 GB to 32GB. Internal memory remains the same at a substandard 8GB, about five GB of which is taken up by the operating system.     Not great for seniors with dexterity issues

    This product is marketed to seniors. However, the touch screen is not great even for nimble young hands. Its not so simple to make a call--you have to go through a number of steps. Bought for my 85 year old mom who can't seem to get the hang of it and is more frustrated than anything else.

    jitterbug smart

    this is the first smart phone i am able to actually use without a problem. just gave up my flip because i got tired of texting on it. with this phone i can speak my texts which makes it a lot faster and easier. very happy customer.

    Alcatel One Touch

    This phone drops calls and sometimes freezes or won't restart. Definitely not as good as the Samsung 5 I had. Too bad Jittebug can't use Samsung. I also drop to 3G a lot so I guess I'mnot getting the benefit of the 4G network
