Good camera, batteries last long time.

Image quality is very good for an average of 60 KB per picture. Batteries stay in camera and I take pictures every day, and I still have 3/3bars. (they are still full after 2 weeks). With a 4 MB flash card, it takes about 55 pictures of average 60 KB. It can take cards up to at least 128 MB (that I know of). If you don't care about ''zooming the size of a wall'', so for regular 4x6 pictures, this is the best camera there is.

    No memory chip

This camera came with no memory chip & I cannot find one that fits, so I cannot rate the cameral on its merits. I will continue to search for a memory card that will work for a price that I am willing to pay.

  • Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P71 3.2 Megapixel

It is a good camera for the value. You need a digital camera which is reasonable and can fit inside your pocket or purse very easily? This is the camera for you. It has the memory stick storage so you can virtually have unlimited storage, as long as you have the memory stick storage cards. The LCD screen is easy to see and but some of the controls are awkward. You have to learn it to understand it all, usually should take a couple of hours to do. Also the battery life is quite good, just 2 double A batteries! So that will keep it cheaper to use. Its a got good value for the money. Overall Score: 8.8/10

  • Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P71 3.2 Megapixel

I purchased this camera from a seller on eBay expecting to get an outdated, barely workable camera. But I was pleasantly surprised at the functions this camera has. Although the limitation of 3.1 megapixels seems like a low quality camera, it is high enough for my aplications. It produces very good photos that will print at 8x10" with very good definition. It has lots of features that allow this camera to be used indoors as well as outside in various weather conditons...although it is several years old, it seems to be compatible with the newer cameras, without the high definition. It is a bargain at the discounted price that it is now selling.

  • Really nice camera

This camera is easy to use and still has lots of variables for the experienced user. The only down side: The maximum size of the memory card is 128 mb, which will give you about 200 pictures at good resolution. BUT - Sony doesn't make these memory cards any more. Too bad, because it's a really good camera.
