    Excellent performance and durability

    This was purchased as a replacement for my well used "original" machine. Bought new it served reliably for almost a decade. If a delicate pressure regulating membrane had not finally failed it would still be in use. The years of daily use before it's failure is more than I ever expected. If parts available I would have simply repaired it. These discontinued machines were very high quality builds. I consider myself fortunate to have found a pristine replacement.

    Tassimo is a great investment for coffee drinkers

    I already own one of these and have been using it for the past 2 years in my home. I liked it so much that I bought the TA1200 for my mother and aunt. Just changed jobs and now have an office big enough for a coffee maker (had a cubicle before), so decided I wanted a Tassimo for work. I think these are a great investment because in comparison to buying coffee at Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts, you'll spend much less per cup (even if you have to use two disks to have the same amount of coffee as a grande or venti). This coffee maker (really a misnomer) gives you so many options. You can make many varieties of coffee, cappucino, decaf cappucino, lattes, chai lattes, many varieties of tea, and hot chocolate. To call it a coffee maker really does not do it justice. It is more of a "beverage ...

    GOOD NEWS AND BAD

    GOOD: It is a great and convenient unit especially if one family member likes caff and one, de-caff! BUT be SURE if you buy a used one, that they send the CORRECT water container with it; mine came with a different container which SEEMED to fit, but i couldn't get the unit to work until i got a correct one from a friend who had replaced her unit. BAD: The ONLY negative is that it is hard to find their coffee discs at times. TARGET has the best prices but BED, BATH & BEYOND alhas a bigger selection;(just a good bit priceier). You CAN order from the Tassimo website but they have a rather high minimum to avoid shippiong charges OR high shipping charges if you don't meet their minimum.

    Used Tassimo still a good deal except for filters

    I love the Tassimo coffee maker. It has a few features the competition doesn't have, however this particular model has a water filter in the tank which is $8 to replace. I always use bottled water in it at work so I probably will replace it once in a blue moon. T-Discs can be found on ebay for approx 60 cents per cup, not too bad compared to starbucks prices.

    GOD wink.

    Purchased my first one16 years ago. Since than other brands have made an impact on the market, and are not as stylish as the first generation Tassimo. I was surprised to find this one. Like it was waiting for me. pretty cool.
