Four fairytale characters violently battle hordes of wolves, bunnies, gingerbread men, toy soldiers, and other unhinged enemies in this hack-and-slash title from Playlogic. Powered by the Unreal Engine 3, Fairytale Fights includes both online and offline cooperative play across dozens of side-scrolling levels as well as competitive play in a series of versus modes. Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, "Naked Emperor," and "Beanstalk Jack" slice-and-dice foes with axes, knives, and other edged weapons, as blood spurts and splatters across the screen and on nearby objects. Each pint-sized, bug-eyed character must carefully make his or her way across hazard-filled environments, avoiding spinning saw blades, crushing ceilings, and other dangers to bring peace to the land.

    Really really bad....

    Wow. Seriously don't buy this game. It's gory so not for kids, and the plot, graphics, and game play is simplistic and child like... how could you MAKE a game that is so violent be so boring?? so who then would play this game? Nobody... the graphics are not "retro" they are lazily done, and all these positive reviews honestly strain credibility... if you can get this for under 5 bucks shipped, and you are feeling either curious or masochistic, go ahead....

    Gore o rama :)

    This game is very entertaining on many levels. The story mode just keeps going leaving the player wanting to defeat the next boss because you do not know what is coming next. The music changes for different scenes and gets more intense when something serious is about to take place. Which is amazing. The graphics for this game is great. Even the play is amazing. Killing fairy tale creatures like the giant, hacking away gnomes, and even skating on blood as you spill it. Pretty wonderful if you ask me. I bought this thinking it would be hilerious and it would tickle my fancy. It surely did. If you like gore, violence, fairy tales, etc, then this is the game for you. Check it out!!!!!!!

    Lovely, happy, bloody game. NOT FOR CHILDREN!!!

    I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this game! I bought this game for me because it looked like a great girl game for adults. However, for you men out there, I didn't get to play MY brand new game until the next day because my husband and 3 of his friends took it over (it plays up to 4 people at a time). LOTS of blood :). When there's a huge puddle of blood you can even slide around in it like you're ice-skating. lol. You can kill things with some of the funniest, random objects like a bunny and a marshmellow on a stick, but there's still guns and swords and axes and stuff. A great game for guys and girls! I repeat, DO NOT get this game FOR KIDS! It's like my dream of a kid's game gone seriously wrong! There's a video preview on playstation.com, just search for fairytale fights, then click on the icon. ...
