The best for clean, fun, real family entertainment
Our whole family loves these shows. It's become a favorite Christmas present. A new season each year. It's not like the shows now where everything is predictable, and every kid is a smart mouth, sometimes there are sad, bad, or just not fun issues and they're handled wit great morality and class. Everything doesn't always just work out great by the end of the show, it shows real life consequences, and that our choices do affect us. And other episodes are so funny we're all laughing out loud. Our children range from 3 - 8 years old and we enjoy them just as much as they do. It also gives us the chance to talk about real life situations. It has been a truly wonderful experience for us. Little House
I like to start off and say I love Little House on The Prairie. So far I have watched season 1,2,and 3. I have found that the order of which they were played on the air is wrong with how they are on these DVD's. Some items on season 3 should have been with season 2 as well as season 2 on 1. I do not mind much, but it does make it a little confusing for the little ones. My 10 year old realizes this. The quality of season 1 is off; regarding the colors are sometimes redish and sometimes yellowish. On season 2 and 3 I noticed strange sounds like static and skipping. I know it is not my DVD player since I just got it back from the shop. Even though with all of this, I feel the picture is pretty good considering how long ago this was aired. Little House Review
Ho Ho Ho...I bought this LHOP video as a early jump start to my Christmas gift buying. It is for my Mother who absolutely LOVES this show. We have many good memories watching it together. I'm sure she thought that it would be a good influence on her two daughters but it didn't work during the "teen" years, but now that we are older we can certainly appreciate the messages more. My Mom can now enjoy watching it with her Granddaughter and GREAT Granddaughter and maybe they can get some guidance from it now. This was the second seasion to be purchased and I play on buying the rest for Mom to enjoy for a long time!Ho Ho Ho...I bought this LHOP video as a early jump start to my Christmas gift buying. Little House on the Prairie:Season 2
I just recently got this DVD, and like the other seasons, it's the best. Once again I can relive the struggles and triphumps of a family trying their best to make a go of living on the prairie, and still being able to keep their faith strong and everlasting. I can watch it over and over again, and never get sick of one episode. Great acting, and a big part of our families as well. Michael should be very proud of this show. God bless you for sharing a part of yourself with us. We'll cherish it always.I just recently got this DVD, and like the other seasons, it's the best.
