The Ice Age is ending and our subzero heroes return in this action adventure video game set in a melting paradise of water parks, geysers and tar pits. Manny the Mammoth, Sid the Sloth and Diego the Sabre-Toothed Tiger are back and realize that the melting glaciers will soon flood their valley. With the help of everyone's favorite sabre-toothed squirrel from the first movie, Scrat, help your big friends cross the perilous landscape to safety. Scrat will dig, swim, sniff, spin and roll his in his never-ending quest to collect acorns. In the process, he serves as the unwitting hero in the quest to save the land from a giant flood.

Not 5☆ due to lack of description, the game was listed as "pristine condition" and the manual was missing and the game card is a bit scratched. But when contacted the seller he offered a full refund and no cost shipping back the item, which i didn't, i kept the game cause it works perfectly, but if i knew the manual was missing i could have got other options for the same price CIB.

    These games are a rarity nowadays you really should raise the price! These things are vintage! If you have a Wii U it won’t pop up in the box that the games usually pop up. Instead it will lead you to the Wii menu. You use the Wii menu and the game pops up!

    Decent Game

    I bought this for my step-daughter's 6th birthday. I thought it would be a suitable game since she has played final fantasy online before... It was difficult for her, so I had to help her out. It's an okay game, just kinda boring. It gets old after awhile becuase all you really do is collect nuts and walnuts. It would be good for someone around 7 or 8. Anyone older than that I think would become bored with it.And anyone younger than that, it would be difficult because you have to read in order to know what to do in the game.

    Meltdown

    Meltdown is a fun, User freindly platformer that should appeal to multiple audiences. The gameplay is enjoyable, the characters are well represented, and the graphics are great for this sort of game. the game is quite easy thou and may not appeal to experienced gamers after the first couple hours.

    Ice Age 2: The Meltdown (Wii)

    Control is tight, especially on Wii. Eurocom has added new gesture-based actions that feel very natural. For instance, you simply motion downward with the Wii remote to make Scrat butt-stomp. Or, you shake it side to side to get him kickin' at enemies.
