    A good alternative

    I am only giving 4 stars because eye supplements work over a period of time so it is too soon to evaluate the results. The capsule is much larger than the one I had been taking but that is probably related to the included vitamins that my previous one did not have plus higher amounts of lutein and zeaxanthin. That said, I do not have any problems swallowing them. I like that they were not stuck together when I opened the bottle. I had to throw away a whole bottle of the previous AREDS 2 brand that was still within the date window stamped on the bottle because they were leaking and bound together in a big blob. I believe it is worth giving them a try.

    Effective enough.

    Pros: It does what it was designed to do, certainly. Cons: It's unwieldy, the two tablet dose has long since been outdated by similar products. Often the softgels will stick rather tenaciously to the bottle. Additionally the color-- black, is a bit unsettling in a softgel.

    AREDS2 Eye Supplement

    Areds2 eye vitamin has been helpful for dry eyes, vision, and long-term computer use. This eye supplement does what it states for the eyes. I am looking forward to the long-term use of this supplement to improve my dry eyes. Presently my eyes feel better after 10 days of use of this supplement.
