I just purchased a Lionel Red Metal Caboose vintage 1945, which makes it one of the first new items produced by Lionel in the Postwar Era. This particular one is in L/N condition, not bad for a plaything that is 79 years old. The seller certainly deserves kudos as well. They packed the caboose so well that I almost had to take out my toolbox to open the package when it arrived. Plus, the seller did an excellent job of handling every detail of the transaction. And the delivery was super-fast.
