Stihl Autocut 11-2 trimmer head
This Stihl autocut 11-2 head is easy to refill with .80 or .95 trimmer string. A friend of mine gave me a Stihl FS40 trimmer and it is and older model. I looked online for a replacement head. This curved shaft string trimmer has a long shaft ending in a 12mm x 1.5mm right hand thread output shaft. Since most others are 10mm shaft I had to go with this head. I tried a Gator head with fixed string but I hand to tap a nut out for it to fit. The weedeater has to much power for that head. The Autocut 10-2 is 12mm x 1.5mm right hand thread for a curved shaft weedeater and it is a bump and feed. It works better with .80 string. Brought Trimmer Back to Life
I bought this trimmer head to replace the original head, which was getting jammed and line clogging or breaking every minute or so. This new head was so easy to install. I only had to unscrew the bump head (by hand), pull off the old head, and put on the new head. It was easier to swap heads than it is to refill line since this head came pre-filled with the green cutter line. My trimmer is back in service!I bought this trimmer head to replace the original head, which was getting jammed and line clogging or breaking every minute or so. This new head was so easy to install. Stihl trimmer head.
This trimmer head I finally found, works very well on my 25 year old stihl trimmer. My old single line trimmer was no match for this one. It is a challenge putting the new one on, but I will get used to it. The only problem is, the string gets buried under the rest, then I have to remove the head and untangle it. The new bump head seems to use less wasted line than my old auto head.

I have used mine 5 times since I received it and it works great the string feeds out when you tap very well and I have had no trouble with it. If you need one it seems to be the ticket to me.
