  • Ginger Baker might not be who you think he is. Read this book and decide for yourself who he really is.

    Ginger Baker is an extraordinary person. Known to many only as the world's best ever drummer, and a man who was for much of his adult life a junkie with an explosive temper. If you watched Beware Mr. Baker. you'll enjoy the back story and reading about the things that formed his character. He seems to have a very sharp memory of so many tiny details o f times and places of his beginning years in the music business, through Graham Bond, and on into Cream, and I'm only half way through the book. He speaks frankly about his temper as well as how hurt he was when musicians he respected confronted him about it. Also it seems that he was not much of driver as he describes several car crashes he caused or had alone. He opens his heart about his loves and tells of his struggles and his fears. He ...
