        Excellent replacement part for my Craftsman 4 cycle Weed Whacker

        This used part is exactly what I needed to repair my Craftsman 4 cycle Weed Whacker that also has a mini-chain saw attachment. My tool is now working welll again. The alternative to this part is a new MTD version which doesn't look like my Craftsman part and costs considerably more.

        Troy-Bilt TB625 EC

        It wasn't an exact replacement for my TB625 EC although it's listed as such. Was the same size as OEM but didn't go into the motor deep enough with the screw hole lining up on the shaft that holds it to the motor. I made it work by putting it all the way up into the motor and drilling new holes into the housing so that it was stationary. Same thing with the throttle/kill switch hole.

        Upper shaft

        Just like the OEM, after using 15 minutes the bottom shat broke, one year old Try Built string trimmer, Troy Built is junk , but this guys parts are great

        upper drive shaft

        The only thing I had to change was a couple of the set pin holes not a big deal doing so. Overall It is a good product so far.I will keep you informed of how its future last.
