    Best 18v makita drill for everyday use

    Powerful solid built drill two speed transmission variable speed is a plus. Battery last a long time with constant use. Down side is a little heavy and big but worth it for a dependable drill.

    Only has Hammer-Drill and Drill setting. No Hammer only setting.

    Heavy Duty Hammerdrill

    The amount of torque on this drill is insane. It comes with a belt clip, a handy depth gauge and a side handle (you are definitely going to need this). So far, it has handled concrete drilling, mortar mixing and holesaws with ease. The only drawback is that it is a little on the heavy side which is to be expected from a tool this powerful.
