        Magical Simplicity

        I have two receivers in my media room at home - one is a newer Pioneer digital with a load of HDMI inputs and geegaws for surround sound and the other is a huge old Pioneer SX 850 that I am using to for music (vinyl) listening. I have a big pair of speakers (Pioneer HPM 100's) that I wanted to use as both the front L & R channels for the surround sound audio and L & R for the stereo. This switch was just the trick. Wire both receivers into the switch (default A, the video receiver front channels - B - the music L&R set A), wire the switch to the speakers, plug a 12v "wall wart" transformer into the switched outlet on the back of the SX 850 (music) receiver, connect that to the switch - and VOI LA - all you have to do is power on the music receiver and the audio automatically comes from ...
